Vienna to Venice

All very excited as we loaded onto the taxis, no idea what awaited us.
I am just going to upload a whole pile of photos of Venice. We were all so excited to arrive, loaded into water taxis and immediately in amongst the canals and the business of life. Our hotel just around the corner from St. Mark's Square.

Island of Burano where the fisherman painted their houses different colours so they could find their way home.



























As we were leaving, some pumping out of the bar area was underway, bit of a higher tide that night. Apparently some of our lot were in there as the water rose. Not me of course.
