Fete des Plantes

Plantes
Plaisirs
Passions

At the Chateau de La Roche-Guyon, near the Seine a wonderful spectacle for gardeners. People come from all over France to experience this weekend.

This of course would look fantastic in our courtyard in Brissy.

What was the moat.

Beautiful herbs.

The colour of these tulips were amazing.

Inside the Chateau were more treasures. This tea and spice stall had lots of customers. The smells were as you would expect! Lots and lots of craft, all very different. It was scarves all round for the girls.

We had lunch in a restaurant close to the Chateau and on the banks of the Seine. Just a short walk down the street with the most stunning wisteria.

We visited a potter in the cliffs behind the Chateau where Elizabeth ordered a pot.

A great day. We drove along the Seine on the way home looking up at the white cliffs.
