Not much logic to these pictures I am afraid. Weather againgst us. The walled city is quite amazing.

























This is me wet and cold in front of the entrance into the walled city. Didn't matter, pretty amazing. We had a guide who gave us a real insight into the history both past, past and more recent.

Vienna to Venice

All very excited as we loaded onto the taxis, no idea what awaited us.
I am just going to upload a whole pile of photos of Venice. We were all so excited to arrive, loaded into water taxis and immediately in amongst the canals and the business of life. Our hotel just around the corner from St. Mark's Square.

As we were leaving, some pumping out of the bar area was underway, bit of a higher tide that night. Apparently some of our lot were in there as the water rose. Not me of course.

Amazing views from a very swish Hotel room ! The drive along the coast from Split was spectacular even though the weather was against us a bit. Hoping it clears tomorrow so we can take the cruise.
